Their story began at Queen's University, where their passion for beauty bloomed amidst the challenges of their engineering studies. Kat pursued a Master's in Cosmetics and Fragrance at Guerlain's Perfumery School, while her partner gained invaluable experience in cosmetic formulation and manufacturing with renowned brands.

The spark for LOHN ignited after six years of sharing dreams and discussing aspirations. Inspired by their diverse backgrounds and the historic Amber Road, a trade route connecting the Baltic Sea to the Adriatic, they envisioned scent collections capturing the essence of that journey.

Years of meticulous research and collaboration birthed LOHN's debut—an exquisite line of hand-poured candles in Toronto. Crafted from coconut and soy wax, these candles boast clean, complex scents in recyclable packaging with non-toxic, eco-conscious elements.
