Started in 2018 by the passionate Andrew Kobayashi, who wanted to combine his love for gardening and urban farming with his newfound love for gourmet mushrooms.Through countless hours of experimentation and learning, we've developed the best grow kits around, so you can enjoy the same success and excitement we've experienced.

The process of growing mushrooms is truly fascinating. We source local sawdust and wheat bran, which would normally be waste products from other industries, and turn them into delicious, nutritious food. Best of all, mushrooms don't require any outside energy to grow, making them a sustainable solution in today's world. With the right conditions and a bit of patience, they seem to magically appear right before your eyes! We've teamed up with lifelong childhood friend, Andrew Hatfield, to grow Happy Caps and share our love for mushrooms with the world. Our goal is to be the best "grow your own mushroom kit" company on the planet and to share the joy of growing mushrooms with as many people as possible. We're grateful to receive support from our parent company Red Light Holland, a publicly traded psychedelic company selling magic truffles in the legal recreational market of the Netherlands. Our shared values of love for all types of mushrooms have made this a perfect partnership.
